Start the Conversation is a local event that aims to give youth resources for suicide prevention while educating community leaders on how to support youth impacted by this growing issue. During this all-day event, three local bands will be performing: Fishing for Saturday, Innuendo and Papa Green Shoes. Genres range from rock, soul and blues and will include both covers and original songs. During the performance, information and resources will be shared to promote their mission of youth suicide prevention.

2018 Springfield MO Reggae Fest

October 6th, 2018 at the Outland Ballroom.

Concert starts at 7 P.M. Tickets range from $10-15.

October 12th, 2018 at the Outland Ballroom.

Based in Austin, Texas, Reckless Kelly captures the essence of American country rock. Fronted by brothers Willy and Cody Braun, they’re eager to share their honky tonk spirit with the 417. They’re no stranger to big venues either — with their father, Muzzie Braun, they’ve performed at the Grand Ole Opry and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.

Modest Mouse

This popular indie rock band has found their way to Springfield, MO all the way from their home of Portland, Oregon.
